Tuesday 10th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent games played across the night, the only exception to this was Green Army who have confirmed their return on Tuesday 17th January.

We welcomed new team 'Prawn Hub' into Division One this week and they look a solid addition as they cruised to a 7-1 win over Centurions in their debut game!

We are pleased to confirm the addition of another new team this week!  We wish HIV Eindhoven good luck going into their game on Tuesday 17th January as they slot into Division Two.

On the field this week Premier Division leaders Allstar Rejects remain in familiar territory after they eased past Nutty Marauders by 7 goals to 2, keeping them a point clear of second placed Murder on Zidane's Floor.  Dynamo Kebab stay in third but fell a point off the team above them as they drew 3-3 with Crouch Potatoes.   Joel Touchmatip continue their improvement since joining and were unfortunate not to get something from their game against Purge this week as they suffered a 2-1 reverse.

In Division One something had to give as the top two met this week, both on 100% records after 6 games, it was a thrilling encounter in which RB Old Boys eventually triumphed 4-3 to move 2 points clear of Sheffield Tuesday who drop to second.  Third placed Boi FC are doing what they can to close the gap on the top two, it reduced to four points this week after they beat Tupsely FCC by 4 goals to 3.  Asbo FC moved up to fourth place, leapfrogging this weeks opponents Scranny Bao in the table after coming out on top of a ten goal thriller, 6-4 the final score.

In Division Two, second placed Snorting Lisbon were involved in another thrilling game, they were 8-5 winners over Inter Ya Nan in a pulsating game to remain two points off the top team.  Chicken Tikka Mo Salah moved up a place to third, above this weeks opponents Notinyourmoms Forest whom they beat 4-0.  Busty Badgers completed the action for the week, claiming a handsome 9-1 win over 6White1Brown.

We wish all teams good luck going into game week 8 with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
