Tuesday 12th July - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, barring a late cancellation from RB Old Boys who return to action on Tuesday 19th July.  

We had a new division of four kick off this week to see out the remainder of the season, these teams will then be added to the current divisions at the end of the season as we will format the league as three divisions of 8 teams.

We welcome new team Notinyourmomsforest to the action on Tuesday 19th July, they replace Hanleys Finest who cancelled what was due to be their first match so have now been replaced.

Allstar rejects put paid to any title aspirations NCO FC had this season, as the leaders ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over the third placed team.  Purge FC keep digging deep though as they hope to capitalise on a slip by the leaders, they were 6-0 winners against Crouch Potatoes, although the goal difference between the two means All Star would need to lose both their remaining games in effect.

Murder On Zidane's Floor need just one more point to confirm the title after they were 2-1 winners over Zouma's Kit Kats this week.  Second placed Gruppo Select kept it interesting though as they romped to a 5-1 win over Asbo FC, the top two meet next week in what promises to be a cracker!

New side Busty Badgers looked like a very good addition to the league as they romped to a 13-1 win over Unreal Madrid FC in the meeting of the new boys.
