Tuesday 24th January - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions as scheduled.

Scranny Bao have now withdrawn from the league after playing out their two week withdrawal notice, which creates ONE VACANCY IN DIVISION ONE!  Sign up today to book your place and avoid disappointment!  The next application will receive FREE ENTRY WORTH £25.  Once a completed application is received we will contact you with details of your team's first fixture.

On the pitch there was a change at the top of the Premier Division as Allstar Rejects romped to a 12-3 win over Joel Touchmatip putting them back at the summit as Murder on Zidane's Floor dropped to third following a 2-1 defeat to Nutty Marauders.  Dynamo Kebab moved up to second place as they ran out 3-1 winners over Green Army, whilst Crouch Potatoes moved out of the drop zone at the expense of Purge FC who they ran out 3-0 winners in the meeting of the two.

In Division One, RB Old Boys cruised to a 4-0 win in their game against Asbo FC to make it 9 wins from as many games as they look in an unassailable position in the quest for promotion.  The battle for second place is key and got ever closer this week as third placed Boi FC moved to within two points of Sheffield Tuesday as the two met, with Boi running out 3-2 winners to put themselves back in the hunt.  Tupsley FCC moved up a place to fourth after beating strugglers Centurions 4-1, whilst the outgoing Scranny Bao shared a 3-3 draw with Prawn Hub.

Warndon Heath are another team in a healthy position at the top of Division Two, they were 4-3 victors over Inter Yanan, whilst the chasing pack also grabbed wins, second placed Snorting Lisbon were 3-2 winners against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, and 6White1Brown were comfortable 7-0 winners against Notinyourmomsforest.  HIV Eindhoven looked more organised this week and despite a 4-2 defeat to Busty Badgers they look to be getting more used to the league after a difficult first game last week.

We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability and wish all good luck going into game week 10 with Worcester's premier small sided football providers!
