Tuesday 25th January - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some closely contested games played across both divisions.

All Star Rejects were given a shock this week, despite being well clear at the top of the Premier Division they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Dynamo Kebab, abruptly ending their 100% record for the season.  Second placed Crouch Potatoes closed the gap slightly, but missed out on the chance to take full advantage as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Gangs of Dwight Yorke.  Nutty Marauders moved into third place and above the aforementioned Gangs of Dwight Yorke as they ran out 3-0 winners over Boi FC.  Purge FC moved clearer of the drop zone and condemned Put It In Dias to the foot of the table after beating them 4-0 this week.  Finally, for the fourth time in ten games, Centurions FC's game finished goalless as they and Murder on Zidane's Floor couldn't be separated.

Top of the Division One table NCO FC suffered a 2-0 reverse against Green Army, who are unbeaten in their first three games in the league since joining.  Bell FC were beaten 4-1 by Gruppo Select in a meeting of two of the new boys, whilst Scranny Bao's 4-3 victory over Warndon Heath saw them move into third place in the table this week.  RB Old Boys dropped to fourth place after they were beaten 4-3 by debutant team Norfolk N Chance, whilst second bottom Puyol Pants Down put in an impressive performance as they recorded a 5-2 victory over Battenhall Wanderers.
