Match Report - Leisure Leagues Worcester Sixways Tuesday 6-a-side League (27th June)

Premier Division:

In a clash of titans, Purge F.C faced off against the undefeated All Star Rejects. Despite putting up a valiant fight, Purge F.C fell short as All Star Rejects sealed a 3-1 victory. This win marked a third consecutive triumph for All Star Rejects this season, a sixteenth consecutive win in all and an  unbeaten streak which dates back to January.

The Nutty Marauders, last season's Runners-Up, were determined to bounce back after two initial defeats. However, Sheffield Tuesday had other plans as they secured a well-deserved 3-1 victory. This win provided Sheffield Tuesday with their first triumph of the season, igniting hope for a successful campaign.

Green Army managed to halt their early-season slump by earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Dynamo Kebab. The point earned by Green Army was a positive step forward as they aimed to rejuvenate their campaign.


Division One:

Joel Touchmatip faced a formidable opponent in Snorting Lisbon, who proved their mettle with a 3-1 victory. Despite putting up a spirited effort, Joel Touchmatip couldn't overcome the dominance of Snorting Lisbon.

I Heung My Son encountered a tough challenge against Boi F.C, who emerged victorious with an impressive 6-2 scoreline. Boi F.C showcased their prowess, leaving I Heung My Son with a mountain to climb.

RB Old Boys experienced a tough outing against the outgoing team, Athletico. In a dominant display, Athletico notched a resounding 7-0 victory, bidding farewell to the league with an emphatic win.

Haywood Jablowme faced BDS FC, who continued their winning streak with a 3-1 triumph. BDS FC showcased their promotion form by securing their third consecutive victory.


Division Two:

HIV Eindhoven clashed with Exeter Slowly in a highly anticipated match. Exeter Slowly came out of the blocks flying and secured a comfortable 4-1 victory. Their performance showcased their determination and skill on the field.

TeamBlue FC, unfortunately, ended up feeling blue after suffering a 3-1 defeat against Busty Badgers. It was a hard-fought match, but Busty Badgers proved to be the stronger team on the day.

In an enthralling encounter, Inter Ya Nan edged out Centurions FC with a narrow 6-5 victory. The match was a goal-fest, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Only Fools and Scousers faced off against Warndon Heath in a thrilling match that ended with a 5-3 scoreline in favor of Only Fools and Scousers. Both teams displayed excellent attacking prowess, providing an entertaining spectacle for the spectators.

After playing only three games, Athletico have decided to withdraw their position from Division One, they have been replaced with new team Shed FC who we wish good luck heading into their debut game on 4th July!
