Tuesday 29th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a fantastic start to the new season in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across both divisions.

All Star Rejects look hungry to retain their title as they romped to a 10-1 win over Scranny Bao this week, whilst newly promoted NCO FC look like they will have something to say about the end of season shake up, as they beat a usually resolute Centurions by 6 goals to 1.  Nutty Marauders ran out comfortable 4-1 winners over Boi FC, and as Dynamo Kebab were winners of a 12 goal thriller against Crouch Potatoes which finished 7-5.  Bell FC had to settle for a draw after their promotion, as they came up against a dogged Purge FC, ending 2 a piece.

Worcester Saints strolled to a 5-0 win over Green Army in the opening games of Division One, as they look to gain promotion at the first time of asking since joining the league.  The other new boys to the league, Zouma's Kitkats look useful too, they ran out 7-3 winners against Battenhall Wanderers in an entertaining encounter.  Woo Town Wanderers returned to action after missing last week, and were comfortable 4-0 winners against Haywood Jablowme, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor, recently relegated will be looking to bounce back at the first attempt, they had a good start as they were 3-1 winners against Warndon Heath.  RB Old Boys completed the action in the division, with a 2-0 win against Pique Blinders.

We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability to the league which helps to ensure it runs on time and smoothly on a weekly basis.  As ever, if you do have any queries, you can contact Shaun at Head Office on 0333 123 2340.
