Due to an unprecedented number of teams (50%) informing us that they would be unavailable to play on this date, due to the Aston Villa v Freiburg Europa League Final, we can confirm that the league will be cancelled for one week as it will not be viable for us to operate with such a small number of teams available.
We will now play the final games of the season on Wednesday 27th May, and new season will therefore kick off on Wednesday 3rd June.
In the Premier League, Zoumas Cats stole the show with a dominant 5-1 victory over Enter Team Name FC. This victory was largely due to their top scorer, whose name sadly couldn't be disclosed, bagged himself a hat trick. The league's surprise package, Pickle Pinchers, trounced Nutty Marauders 12-3, with their top scorer netting an impressive four goals.
Over in Division 1, Paris Ganja Man continued their winning streak with a 3-0 victory over Barely Athletic. Their top scorer played a vital role, contributing two goals. Boiler Leverkusen also kept their title hopes alive with a 5-2 win over Sporting Sparkies.
In Division 2, AFC Old Boys turned on the style against Claines FC, winning 8-4. Their top scorer was on fire, registering a hat trick. Meanwhile, Gangsters Allardyce FC suffered a 6-2 defeat at the hands of Toby on Tour, with Toby's top scorer adding two to his season tally.
Finally, in Division 3, it was a week of high-scoring games as Pathetic Athletic triumphed 7-1 against Benqueefa, with their top scorer putting in an exceptional performance to score four, while Git Up secured a comfortable 5-2 victory against Knots County FC.
This week's games have undoubtedly set the stage for an exciting finish to the season, with the goal scorers from each division hoping to continue their impressive form into the upcoming fixtures.
