Wednesday 11th February - Worcester Round-Up

An excellent evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league to end the season, with all teams in attendance throughout the night.

In the Premier League division, Zoumas Cats dominated the field, shutting out Pickle Pinchers 3-0. UP THE ALMA solidified their standing with a convincing 4-1 victory over Lucozade Sports, while Coral FC narrowly edged out Nomads 4-3. After a season-long battle, Coral FC emerged victorious, clinching the Premier League title with an impressive total of 20 points and 8 wins.

In Division 1, the competition was fierce, but Bert United emerged as the clear leaders. They defeated Boiler Leverkusen 6-2, and finished the season at the top of the table with a total of 21 points and 10 wins. Despite finishing their final game in a 1-1 draw with Tupsley FCC, The Ninja Skrtels earned the title of top scorer for this division.

In Division 2, Barely Athletic showed their prowess with a 4-1 victory over AFC Old Boys, securing their division title with a total of 25 points and 11 wins. Meanwhile, Inter Ya Nan completed a fantastic 5-0 win over Worcester Massive, and topped the charts as the division's highest scorers.

Lastly, in Division 3, Worcester Palestine FC ran rampant with a 7-1 thrashing of Raven United, while Tactics FC rose to the occasion, securing the division title with 23 points and 11 victories.
