Wednesday 11th October - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week which saw all 32 teams in attendance across all four divisions as scheduled and some fantastic matches played.

In the Premier League, Dales Sixes edged out ArrowXL FC in a nail-biting encounter, finishing 3-2. CottageMixedGrill FC put their foot down against Enter Team Name FC, triumphing 5-3. Lucozade Sports dominated Coral FC with a decisive 4-0 victory, and Wednesday Social shared a goal-less draw with Ooo Aah Slavia, keeping the competition wide open.

Moving to Division 1, Gangsters Allardyce outclassed Paris Ganja Man with a resounding 5-1 victory. In another evenly contested match, Leavemyarsealona scraped past Expecting Toulouse 3-2. Meanwhile, Nag Shuts FC secured a 3-1 win over Claines FC, and Nunnery Wood Veterans defeated UP THE ALMA 3-1.

Division 2 saw Bley You Off The Park give a masterclass against Perdiswell Lynx, winning 4-1. Murder On Zidanes Floor outsmarted PT Football, achieving a 3-1 victory. Sporting Bad Haircuts had a narrow 3-2 win over Monner United, while Unathlectico Madrid suffered a crushing 10-0 defeat to Tupsley FCC.

In Division 3, Bench Warmers FC delivered a memorable performance, overcoming Meat Batch 11-3. Misfits FC pulled off a close 3-2 win over Ice Ice Babies, while Gotta Die For 3 Pints blanked Severn Wasters 3-0. The encounter between STUDS ON STUDS and Worcester 69ers ended in a 1-1 draw.
