Wednesday 13th December - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring Meat Batch who have now been removed.

We welcome new team Boca Seniors into the league as a replacement for the above, wishing them good luck in their debut game on Wednesday 20th December!

In the Premier League, Worcester Saints showcased an impressive performance, winning 5-2 against CottageMixedGrill FC. Lucozade Sports made a massive mark with a 7-1 victory over Ooo Aah Slavia, marking the highest scoring match of the night.

In Division 1, Gangsters Allardyce claimed a dominating 6-2 victory over Claines FC, setting a high standard for the rest of the division. Meanwhile, Expecting Toulouse and Paris Ganja Man ended their hard-fought match in a 3-3 draw.

Division 2 experienced a thrilling contest with Unathlectico Madrid securing a 5-3 victory against Tolly Bashers. A notable performance was also seen by Tupsley FCC, who managed to beat Sporting Bad Haircuts 5-1.

As for Division 3, it was a nightmare for the Bench Warmers FC and STUDS ON STUDS. Both teams were defeated with a clean sheet, losing 6-0 to Ice Ice Babies and 7-0 to Misfits FC respectively.

Good luck to all teams going into game week 12 of the campaign, the final games of the year before a one week Christmas break, when the league will return to action on Wednesday 3rd January 2024!
