Wednesday 15th November - Worcester Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being a late cancellation from Gotta Die For 3 Pints, who we look forward to seeing return on Wednesday 22nd November.

In the Premier League, the Worcester Saints displayed their offensive prowess with an impressive 9-1 victory over Enter Team Name FC on their league debuts, showing themselves as a clear force to be reckoned with going forwards. Meanwhile, Dales Sixes narrowly edged out Lucozade Sports with a 2-1 scoreline. CottageMixedGrill FC and Ooo Aah Slavia gave spectators a thrilling show ending in a 6-4 win to CottageMixedGrill FC, while Coral FC had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Wednesday Social.

Division 1 saw Leavemyarsealona claiming a 2-1 victory over Paris Ganja Man, and Gangsters Allardyce defeating Nag Shuts FC 1-0 in a closely contested match. Expecting Toulouse and Nunnery Wood Veterans seemed to be evenly matched with a final score of 3-2 in favor of Expecting Toulouse. Claines FC and UP THE ALMA shared points in a 2-2 draw.

Bley You Off The Park emerged victorious in Division 2 with a 6-2 win against PT Football. Sporting Bad Haircuts managed a slim 2-1 victory over Perdiswell Lynx. Murder On Zidanes Floor was defeated 5-1 by Tupsley FCC, while Monner United and Unathlectico Madrid ended in a 3-3 deadlock.

In Division 3, Misfits FC secured a 2-1 victory against Bench Warmers FC, and Meat Batch cruised to a 2-0 win over Severn Wasters. Ice Ice Babies and The Cherry Charvas had a high-scoring game that ended 7-2 in favor of Ice Ice Babies.
