Wednesday 18th October - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all 32 teams braving the horrendous weather conditions and attending for their scheduled fixtures.

In the Premier League, Ooo Aah Slavia showcased their attacking prowess with a 5 - 2 win over ARROWXL FC. Meanwhile, Lucozade Sports cruised past Wednesday Social with a comfortable 3 - 0 victory. Enter Team Name FC and Coral FC had a thrilling face-off that ended in a 3 - 3 draw, while Dales Sixes established their dominance over CottageMixedGrill FC with a decisive 4 - 1 win.

Division 1 saw Nunnery Wood Veterans narrowly beat Paris Ganja Man 3 - 2, while UP THE ALMA delivered a potent performance, bagging a 4 - 0 win against Nag Shuts FC. Claines FC defeated Leavemyarsealona 5 - 2, and Gangsters Allardyce secured a flawless 3 - 0 victory over Expecting Toulouse.

In Division 2, Tupsley FCC started off the week with a victorious 3 - 0 match against Bley You Off The Park. Sporting Bad Haircuts also followed suit, trouncing Unathlectico Madrid 3 - 0. Monner United managed a 4 - 2 win over PT Football, while the match between Perdiswell Lynx and Murder On ZIdane's Floor ended 1 - 0 in favour of Perdiswell Lynx.

Division 3 witnessed an impressive 6 - 0 win by Bench Warmers FC against Worcester 69ers. STUDS ON STUDS managed a close 2 - 1 triumph over Severn Wasters. Misfits FC trampled Gotta Die For 3 Pints with a 5 - 1 scoreline, and Ice Ice Babies recorded an 8 - 1 victory against Meat Batch.

We must thank all teams for their commitment to the league, particularly this week where the heavy rain made playing conditions difficult, but everyone braved the atrocious conditions for their weekly 6 a side fix.  We appreciate all teams unwavering support.
