Wednesday 19th May - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their fixtures as scheduled, the only exception being a very late cancellation from Sporting Bad Haircuts who we thank for making contact and look forward to welcoming back on 26th May.

Snakes FC recovered from their first and only defeat of the campaign and did so in style, a 4-0 win over Brap FC this weeks result which keeps them 8 points clear.  Second place is still to play for as Expecting Toulouse occupy this position with a 2-0 victory over The Blue Waffles, closely followed by Petr Cech Yourself who were 3-0 winners against Paris Shags Ya Nan.  Gently moved clear of the drop zone as they look to keep their place in the Premier Division after a 4-1 victory over Lads on Toure.

The Rifes snatched top spot in Division One at a crucial stage of the season as they nicked a point in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Plunger and Superglue, whilst Dales Sixes were beaten 2-1 at the hands of Ballas Atletico, this ensures that the title race is going to go to the wire!

KFC Wimbledon have been a class above the rest since the inception of Division Two and carried on their superb run of form with a 3-0 win against Six Offenders.  A single point separates three teams for the second promotion spot as Diamond White Alley, Sporting a Beergut and Borussia Teeth all fight for the chance of playing Division One football next season!
