Wednesday 20th August - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions.

In the Premier League, Dream Team notched up an impressive 6-2 victory against Jeet Army, establishing their dominance early in the week. UP THE ALMA also secured a solid 4-2 win over Boiler Leverkusen, showing their potential as title contenders. The match between Lucozade Sports and Coral FC ended in a stalemate with a 1-1 draw, while Pickle Pinchers edged Stroke Titty by 3-1.

Moving to Division 1, a noteworthy performance came from Paris Ganja Man, who shut out Bert United 2-0. Meanwhile, Nutty Marauders and Tupsley FCC battled to a 1-1 draw. Zoumas Cats roared to a 3-0 victory over AFC Young Boys, and in a nail-biting finish, Wednesday Social edged Expecting Toulouse 3-2, making their mark on the table.

Division 2 saw Enter Team Name FC making a powerful statement with a 5-1 thrashing of 2 Subs 1 Cup. Claines FC were narrowly defeated by Barely Athletic 2-1, while Mia KhaFifa came out on top of Young Boys United 3-1. The Ninja Skrtels eked out a 1-0 victory over Sporting Abeergut, rounding off the division's matches.

In Division 3, the Bench Warmers FC dominated Cry Me A River Plate with an astounding 11-0 win. Exeter Gently and Knots County FC ended their skirmish in a 3-3 draw, while MOIST CABBAGE narrowly beat Cathedral Cheese AFC 4-3. Lastly, Inter Ya Nan overcame The Crouch Potatoes 5-1, concluding the week's fixtures.
