Wednesday 20th September - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league, we had a couple of teams unable to attend but all are confirmed to return on Wednesday 27th September.

On a positive note, we welcome a whopping FOUR NEW TEAMS to the league on Wednesday 27th September for the final round of fixtures of the season.  All are in place to play their debut games to get a feel for the league prior to the next campaign which begins on Wednesday 4th October.

Good luck to - PT Football (Division One), WSFC, Meat Batch and Unathletico Madrid (all Division Two) on their league debuts!

In the Premier League, Coral FC struggled against the offensive prowess of Dales Sixes, succumbing to a narrow 2-1 defeat. However, CottageMixedGrill FC showed their dominance by thrashing Wednesday Social 6-2. The most remarkable game of the week was Cats on Bikes routing Perdiswell Lynx with a whopping 11-1 victory.

Moving on to Division 1, Expecting Toulouse was unable to break Claines FC’s defenses, leading to an 8-0 downfall. Meanwhile, Leavemyarsealona fell 4-0 to Ooo Aah Slavia. A highly competitive game was seen between Nag Shuts FC and Nunnery Wood Veterans, with the former edging out a 3-2 win.

In Division 2, Bench Warmers FC couldn't keep up with ARROWXL FC, losing 5-0. Bley You Off The Park also suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of UP THE ALMA. Gotta Die For 3 Pints and Tupsley FCC ended in a 1-1 stalemate, while Sporting Bad Haircuts secured a 5-3 victory over Murder On Zidane's Floor.
