Wednesday 24th May - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

Welcome back to another exciting round of matches in the Leisure Leagues Worcester Wednesday 6-a-side League. Game week 10 saw a superb turnout, with the majority of teams attending, despite a few cancellations. We also have some teams returning next week, namely Murder on Zidane's Floor, Bley You Off The Park, and Sporting Bad Haircuts. We extend a warm welcome to the new team Gamblers Anonymous, who will be replacing the unfortunate withdrawal of Fred West Ham. We wish them good luck in their debut next week!

Premier Division:

DALES SIXES 2 - 1 EXPECTING TOULOUSE

In a closely contested match, DALES SIXES emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against EXPECTING TOULOUSE.

CORAL FC 5 - 2 SCRANNY BAO 2

SCRANNY BAO 2, in their second game since joining the league, put up an encouraging performance but fell short against CORAL FC, who secured a 5-2 victory.

BRAP FC 3 - 1 OOO AAH SLAVIA

League debutants OOO AAH SLAVIA gave a good account of themselves against Premier Division leaders BRAP FC, but the latter prevailed with a 3-1 win.

WEDNESDAY SOCIAL 1 - 4 NEW INN FC

NEW INN FC put on a dominant display, securing a convincing 4-1 victory over WEDNESDAY SOCIAL.

Division One:

GOTTA DIE FOR 3 PINTS 2 - 1 LADS ON TOURE

In a shock result, league leaders LADS ON TOURE suffered a 2-1 defeat against bottom-of-the-table GOTTA DIE FOR 3 PINTS, resulting in their drop from the top to third place.

ENTER TEAM NAME FC 2 - 1 LUCOZADE SPORTS

ENTER TEAM NAME FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over LUCOZADE SPORTS in a closely fought contest.

CLAINES FC 3 - 1 CATS ON BIKES

CATS ON BIKES, who had been undefeated since joining the league, suffered their first defeat as CLAINES FC secured a 3-1 win, bringing the cats' purring to an end.

UP THE ALMA 1 - 1 NUNNERY WOOD VETERANS

The match between UP THE ALMA and NUNNERY WOOD VETERANS ended in a 1-1 draw, allowing the latter to maintain their position at the top of the division.

Division Two:

COTTAGEMIXEDGRILL FC 5 - 1 TUPSLEY FCC

League leaders COTTAGEMIXEDGRILL FC continued their impressive form, cooking on gas with a resounding 5-1 victory over TUPSLEY FCC.

SPORTING ABEERGUT 3 - 3 MANCHESTHAIR UNKNOTTED

SPORTING ABEERGUT and MANCHESTHAIR UNKNOTTED battled it out in an entertaining encounter that ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Division Three:

LARGENTINA 6 - 2 BANDITOS FC

LARGENTINA showcased their attacking prowess, securing a convincing 6-2 victory over BANDITOS FC.

WARNDON FC 6 - 2 MOISTCABBAGE

In another symmetrical result, WARNDON FC triumphed over MOISTCABBAGE with a 6-2 scoreline.
