Wednesday 26th April - Worcester Round-Up

Welcome to the weekly round-up of the Worcester Wednesday 6-a-side league! On the 26th of April, we witnessed some exciting matches as all teams attended, except for a few cancellations due to the Man City v Arsenal Premier League match.

We want to extend a warm welcome back to New Inn FC, Small Pond FC, Fred West Ham, Bley You off the Park, and Bifta Lifta United, who are set to join us on Wednesday, 3rd May.

Paris Ganja Man have withdrawn from Division One due to a shortage of players.  We hope to see them back with us in future and thank them for their time in the league.  We are pleased to confirm the addition of new team CATS ON BIKES to the league as their replacement, and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Wednesday 3rd May!

In the Premier Division, BRAP FC and Coral FC played out a 1-1 draw in a closely contested game. Wednesday Social suffered a 0-4 defeat against Dales Sixes, who dominated the game from start to finish.

Moving on to Division One, Nunnery Wood Veterans lost 2-7 to Lucozade Sports, who were in top form. Claines FC and Enter Team Name FC played out an entertaining 4-4 draw, with both teams showcasing their attacking prowess. Up the Alma scored a convincing 8-1 win over Gotta Die for 3 Pints, who had a difficult evening.

In Division Two, Sporting Bad Haircuts secured a 4-3 victory over Tupsley FCC in a closely contested game. On the other hand, Nag Shuts FC dominated Manchesthair Unkotted, winning 20-0 in an emphatic display. Sporting Abeergut suffered a 2-5 defeat against Cottagemixedgrill FC, who put in a commanding performance.

Finally, in Division Three, Murder on Zidanes Floor showed their class, securing a 7-0 win over Moistcabbage. ArrowXL FC overcame Warndon FC 2-1 in a tight match, while Rybrook FC lost 1-3 to Barbz Brummie FC.
