Wednesday 26th January - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league at Sixways this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions.

Ballas Atletico have withdrawn from the league after playing out their 2 weeks notice, but we are pleased to welcome new team Pershite to the league as their replacement and wish them good luck going into their first fixture on Wednesday 2nd February.

Priestlane Wanderers got their second win on the bounce this week as they were 5-1 winners over The Charvas, whilst El Nino won an entertaining game against FC Marshelona by a 3-2 scoreline to stay unbeaten.  Sporting Beergut followed up their defeat last week with a 4-1 win over Brap FC to get their season off and running.

In Division One, Wednesday Social were 3-1 winners over Barcaloners to get their second win on the spin, as did Cheese Gromit who won by the same score line against Lads on Toure.  Expecting Toulouse recorded a 3-0 win over Get Your Klopp out to stay unbeaten, whilst Make 6 a side Great Again and Bishy FC played out a 1-1 draw in a tight game.

Paris Ganjaman look impressive at this early stage of the season, following up last weeks 10-0 win with a 4-0 victory against Cheeky Naldos.  Coral FC's second win in a row came in the form of a 4-2 score line against Largentina, whilst 2 Girls 1 Schlupp narrowly edged past Warriors Staff in a single goal game.  Sixual Deviants and 3 Pints were involved in a well contested game, with Deviants running out 4-2 victors to complete the action.
