Wednesday 26th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions.

In the Premier League, Zoumas Cats took the lead with a significant 3-1 win over Jeet Army. Despite a scoreless standoff between UP THE ALMA and Nutty Marauders, Coral FC and Pickle Pinchers both claimed victory over their opponents, Lucozade Sports and Nomads, with scores of 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, The Ninja Skrtels triumphed over Bert United with a 4-2 victory. Dream Team, on the other hand, outscored Paris Ganja Man 3-1 and the clash between Boiler Leverkusen and Tupsley FCC ended in a 2-2 draw. Enter Team Name FC sealed their superiority by defeating Wednesday Social 5-1.

Over in Division 2, Expecting Toulouse, Barely Athletic, and Inter Ya Nan came out on top in their respective matches, while Worcester Massive managed to edge out The Crouch Potatoes 3-1 in a tightly contested match.

Finally, Division 3 saw Tactics FC demolish Warehouse Warriors with a remarkable 10-0 triumph, while Worcester Palestine FC won 9-1 against Knots County FC. Pathetic Athletic and Young Boys United also secured wins against their opponents, MOIST CABBAGE and Phoenix Flames respectively.

We welcome new team 'Raven United' to the league from Wednesday 3rd December, they move over from our Worcester University Sunday league and replace the outgoing 'Warehourse Warriors'.  Good luck to the new boys on their Wednesday league debut!
