Wednesday 29th March - Worcester Round-Up

The Worcester Sixways 6-a-side football league was in full swing as all 32 teams gathered at the venue for a night of thrilling football action. With matches played across three divisions, the stage was set for a highly competitive evening.

In the Premier Division, Wednesday Social and Small Pond FC kicked off the proceedings with an intense match that saw both share a point apiece in a 1-1 draw. Coral FC faced a tough challenge in their match against New Inn FC, ultimately losing 3-0. BRAP FC secured an impressive 7-1 victory over Expecting Toulouse, while Dales Sixes fell to a 3-1 defeat against Fatletico Madrid.

In Division One, Up the Alma faced Paris Ganja Man in a closely contested match that ended in a 1-0 win for Paris Ganja Man. Enter Team Name FC struggled against Nunnery Wood Veterans, losing 4-0, while Claines FC lost 2-0 to Lads on Toure. Gotta Die for 3 Pints faced a tough match against Murder on Zidanes Floor and suffered an 8-2 defeat.

Division Two saw a thrilling match between West Ham Sandwich and Sporting Bad Haircuts, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Points Match 1 secured a 3-2 victory over Bley You Off the Park, while Exeter Gently won 2-1 against Bifta Lifta United. Cottagemixedgrill FC suffered a 4-1 defeat against Nag Shuts FC.

Finally, in Division Three, Rybrook FC secured an emphatic 4-0 win over Fred West Ham, while Warndon FC lost 4-0 against Lucozade Sports. ArrowXL FC secured a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Banditos FC, and Barbz Brummie FC won 2-1 against Moistcabbage.

Overall, it was a fantastic night of football, with all teams putting in impressive performances.
