Wednesday 2nd August - Worcester Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception to this being a cancellation from Murder on Zidane's Floor who have confirmed their return on Wednesday 9th August.

In the Premier League, Dales Sixes clinched a narrow 2-1 victory against Coral FC. Despite both teams putting up a valiant fight, it was Dales Sixes who emerged victorious, thanks to their standout performance on the field. Meanwhile, Wednesday Social dominated the match against CottageMixedGrill FC, securing a resounding 6-2 win.

Over in Division 1, Ooo Aah Slavia showcased their prowess with an impressive 4-0 win against Gamblers Anonymous, while Lucozade Sports outplayed We Will Spoon You, securing an 8-1 victory. The standout performance of the night came from Nag Shuts FC, who fought valiantly against Nunnery Wood Veterans, ending the match with a 2-1 win. Expecting Toulouse and Claines FC played out an intense 2-2 draw, with both teams showcasing great skill and determination. 

In Division 2, ARROWXL FC showcased their attacking prowess, netting five goals in a thrilling 5-3 victory against Bench Warmers FC. Bley You Off The Park secured a 2-0 victory against UP THE ALMA, while Tupsley FCC triumphed over Gotta Die For 3 Pints with a 4-2 win.

Finally, in Division 3, Warndon FC emerged victorious with a 3-1 win against Ice Ice Babies, while Misfits FC defeated MoistCABBAGE in a close 4-3 encounter. Gangsters Allardyce displayed their strength on the pitch, securing a resounding 6-0 win against Banditos FC.

Week 6 of the Worcester Wednesday Football League certainly did not disappoint, with every division delivering high-quality football action. As the competition heats up, we eagerly await the upcoming matches, where teams will continue to fight for glory on the pitch.
