Wednesday 30th August - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league overall this week, with a good turnout despite the Worcester derby happening across the road, once again showing great commitment from our teams.  We did have a handful missing though, but welcome back Wednesday Social, Largentina and Tupsley FCC back to the fold on Wednesday 6th September.

In the Premier League, Dales Sixes dominated Perdiswell Lynx with a resounding 6-1 victory as they were clinical against the league debutants. Coral FC also displayed their attacking prowess, securing a 4-1 win against Enter Team Name FC. It was a closely contested match between CottageMixedGrill FC and Cats On Bikes, with the latter ultimately emerging victorious with a 4-2 scoreline.

In Division 1, We Will Spoon You demonstrated their superiority, defeating Claines FC with a comfortable 2-0 win, a great result for We Will Spoon You as they settle into the league week on week.  Ooo Aah Slavia and Nunnery Wood Veterans battled to a 1-1 draw in a match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Nag Shuts FC outplayed Expecting Toulouse, securing a convincing 3-0 victory. Lucozade Sports proved unstoppable, routing Leavemyarsealona with an impressive 4-0 result.

Division 2 also witnessed some thrilling encounters. UP THE ALMA showcased their attacking prowess, overpowering Sporting Bad Haircuts with a convincing 6-1 scoreline,. Murder On ZIdanes Floor dominated Bench Warmers FC, securing a comfortable 5-1 win. Bley You Off The Park displayed their winning mentality by defeating Gotta Die For 3 Pints, also with a commanding 5-1 victory.

In Division 3, Out On Bale unleashed an attacking masterclass, thrashing Banditos FC with a convincing 6-0 win. Warndon FC showcased their skills and determination, overcoming Misfits FC with a 4-1 victory. Ice Ice Babies and Severn Wasters battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw, leaving both teams to share the spoils.
