Wednesday 6th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all 32 teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions, and some entertaining matches played.

In the Premier League division, Worcester Saints secured a 3-1 win over Gangsters Allardyce, while Coral FC decimated 6 Lads 1 Cup V2 with a whopping 11-0 victory. Lucozade Sports put on an impressive show of offensive prowess, outperforming Real Mature 17-0, and Mia KhaFifa edged out UP THE ALMA in a narrow 1-0 triumph.

In Division 1, Enter Team Name FC proved too strong for Skylas Best Friends List, registering a 7-0 win. Leavemyarsealona overcame Wednesday Social 5-2, Nag Shuts FC defeated Tupsley FCC 3-1, and Claines FC and Nunnery Wood Veterans ended their match in a 2-2 stalemate.

Division 2 brought its own drama with Ice Ice Babies securing a 2-1 win over Sporting Bad Haircuts. Monner United narrowly lost to Expecting Toulouse 1-2, while Murder On Zidanes Floor eked out a 2-1 victory against Paris Ganja Man. Bley You Off The Park scored twice to overcome Perdiswell Lynx’s zero.

Finally, in Division 3, Bench Warmers FC outclassed STUDS ON STUDS 5-0. The Cherry Charvas triumphed over Gotta Die For 3 Pints 3-1, Unathlectico Madrid blanked Severn Wasters 5-0, and Tolly Bashers narrowly defeated Boca Seniors 2-1.
