Wednesday 6th September - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

This week saw another excellent round of fixtures take place in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance as they should be, barring a cancellation from We Will Spoon You who are due to return to action on Wednesday 13th September.

In the Premier League division, Dales Sixes delivered an outstanding performance, defeating CottageMixedGrill FC with an impressive scoreline of 5-1. Meanwhile, Cats On Bikes and Coral FC played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, showcasing their skills and determination on the pitch but neither team able to grab the winner as both shook hands on a point apiece.  Wednesday Social secured a narrow victory over Enter Team Name FC, prevailing with a 3-2 score. Largentina and Perdiswell Lynx engaged in a goal-fest, with Largentina emerging as victors with a 4-3 result.

In Division 1, Leavemyarsealona claimed a hard-fought 5-3 win against Claines FC, while Lucozade Sports narrowly defeated Expecting Toulouse by a score of 4-3. Ooo Aah Slavia showcased their resilience with a tight 1-0 victory against Nag Shuts FC.

In Division 2, ARROWXL FC secured a hard-earned 2-1 win over Bley You Off The Park, while Gotta Die For 3 Pints blanked Bench Warmers FC with a 2-0 scoreline. UP THE ALMA demonstrated their skills and determination, securing a thrilling 3-2 win against Murder On Zidanes Floor. Sporting Bad Haircuts and Tupsley FCC engaged in a neck-and-neck battle, with Tupsley FCC emerging as the winners with a 3-2 result.

Finally, in Division 3, Ice Ice Babies showcased their dominance with a resounding 3-0 victory against Banditos FC. Gangsters Allardyce displayed their class with a comfortable 3-0 win over Severn Wasters. The match between Misfits FC and Out On Bale ended in a goal-fest, with Out On Bale emerging triumphant with an 8-5 scoreline.
