Wednesday 7th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being a cancellation from Young Boys who return as normal next week.

In the Premier League, Pickle Pinchers triumphed over Coral FC with a narrow 1-0 victory, while Dream Team clashed with Lucozade Sports in a 2-2 draw. However, the match of the day was undoubtedly Jeet Army's 4-2 comeback against Expecting Toulouse, which saw the army boys secure a crucial victory.

Moving to Division 1, the most exciting fixture was the 2-2 draw between Bert United and Wednesday Social. UP THE ALMA managed to squeeze past Leavemyarsealona 2-0, while Sporting Abeergut outclassed Mia KhaFifa 4-1. Nutty Marauders showed their dominance with a 4-1 victory over Spa Dec Fc.

In Division 2, Zoumas Cats stole the limelight with a resounding 5-2 victory over 2 Subs 1 Cup. AFC White Hart and Unathlectico Madrid had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Tupsley FCC's strong defense handed them a 2-0 victory over Priestlane Wanderers, while Enter Team Name FC crushed Knots County FC in a high-scoring 10-1 thriller.

Last but not least, in Division 3, The Ninja Skrtels edged past Bench Warmers FC 2-1. Platform South knocked Cathedral Cheese AFC with a 4-0 victory. MOIST CABBAGE managed a 4-1 win over Claines FC, while Cry Me A River Plate outperformed Exeter Gently 4-1.
