Wednesday 8th April - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring two, Lucozade Sports and Phoenix Flames who are both due to return with us on Wednesday 15th April.

In the Premier League, Zoumas Cats pounced on Bert United with a narrow 2-1 victory, seizing the opportunity to climb up the league standings. Coral FC managed to secure a 3-2 win over UP THE ALMA in a hotly contested match. Also in the Premier League, the Pickle Pinchers pinched a win from Enter Team Name FC, emerging victorious with a 3-1 scoreline.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Boiler Leverkusen and Nomads ended their game with a 1-1 draw in a match that was a true testament to their evenly matched prowess. In a high-scoring game, Dream Team outperformed Expecting Toulouse, winning by 6-3.

In Division 2, AFC Old Boys displayed dominance with a 3-0 victory over Worcester Massive, while Claines FC demolished Wednesday Social with an impressive 8-1 win. Inter Ya Nan managed to edge out Toby On Tour 1-0, and Bandags And Ballers had a comfortable 5-1 win over Gangsters Allardyce FC.

Lastly, in Division 3, Knots County FC achieved a resounding 9-2 victory over Benqueefa, and All The Gear No Idea showed their prowess with a 4-2 win over Young Boys United.
