Wednesday 8th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night barring three cancellations.  We welcome back Ooh Aah Slavia and Nunnery Wood Veterans to the league on Wednesday 15th November.  Arrow XL have now been removed from the league after having to cancel for the second consecutive week.

We welcome new team 'Worcester Saints' to the league as a replacement for the above, and wish these good luck going into their debut game on Wednesday 15th November.

In the Premier League division, CottageMixedGrill FC narrowly defeated Wednesday Social with a scoreline of 4-3, demonstrating a solid performance. Meanwhile, Lucozade Sports came out strongly against Enter Team Name FC, securing a decisive 5-2 victory.

Moving onto Division 1, Paris Ganja Man edged out Claines FC in a close 2-1 contest while UP THE ALMA triumphed over Expecting Toulouse with an identical score. Nag Shuts FC showed their prowess with a 4-1 victory over Leavemyarsealona, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Division 2 experienced some high-scoring games, with Unathlectico Madrid delivering a whopping 6-0 defeat to Murder On Zidanes Floor. Tupsley FCC ensured a 3-0 triumph over Perdiswell Lynx, and Sporting Bad Haircuts stormed past PT Football with a massive 6-1 victory.

Division 3 witnessed the most one-sided game of the night, with Meat Batch routing The Cherry Charvas 27-0 in a match that will be remembered for a long time. Other highlights included Bench Warmers FC's 4-0 victory over Gotta Die For 3 Pints and Misfits FC's powerful 7-1 win over Severn Wasters.
