Wednesday 9th February - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Sixways Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, including new team We Always Lose who played their first fixture in Division One with us!

Priestlane Wanderers 100% record was ended this week as Sporting a Beergut held them to a 2-2 draw in an entertaining game.  That result allowed second placed El Nino to move level on points with the leaders, as they ran out 4-2 winners against Brap FC.  FC Marshelona stay in third place after they thumped The Rifes by a 7-1 margin, whilst The Charvas registered their first points of the season with a 2-0 win against Pershite.

Cheese Gromit are the new Division One leaders after this weeks matches as they were 4-1 winners against new boys We Never Win, whilst Wednesday Social dropped to second as their 100% start to the season was brought to an abrupt end as they were hammered 9-3 by Get Your Klopp Out.  Bishy FC recorded their first win of the campaign as they beat Expecting Toulouse by 2 goals to 1.  Make 6 a side Great Again and Lads on Toure could not be separated as the two shared a goalless draw to round off the divisions action.

Paris Ganja Man's rampant start to the Division Two campaign continued into a fourth week as they thrashed Sixual Deviants by an 8-1 score line.  Coral FC also continued their 100% record into a fourth week as they beat bottom team Gotta Die for 3 Pints by 3 goals to 1.  Warriors Staff won a 10 goal thriller against Largentina as they ran out 7-3 winners to move into third place, whilst 2 Girls 1 Schlupp moved up to fourth position following their 2-0 victory against 2 Girls 1 Schlupp.
