Wednesday 9th July - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions as scheduled.

In the Premier League, Coral FC laid down a marker with a 4-0 thumping of Jeet Army. Pickle Pinchers edged out Leavemyarsealona 3-2 in a nail-biting encounter while Stroke Titty beat Lucozade Sports in a 3-2 thriller. Dream Team kept a clean-sheet with a 3-0 victory against UP THE ALMA, making the top of the table an interesting space to watch.

Division 1 was no less competitive. Nutty Marauders fell short against AFC Young Boys with a 0-2 defeat. Zoumas Cats demonstrated their dominance with a 3-0 whitewashing of Wednesday Social, while Expecting Toulouse outperformed Bert United with a 2-0 scoreline.

Down in Division 2, Young Boys United made a statement with a 3-0 victory over Claines FC. Mia KhaFifa scraped past Sporting Abeergut 2-1, while The Ninja Skrtels edged out a high-scoring encounter against 2 Subs 1 Cup with a 5-3 victory. Enter Team Name FC narrowly beat Barely Athletic 2-1, ensuring that the competition remains fierce.

In Division 3, Exeter Gently ousted Cathedral Cheese AFC 5-1. MOIST CABBAGE outscored The Crouch Potatoes 7-4 in an end-to-end encounter, while Inter Ya Nan and Bench Warmers FC shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Cry Me A River Plate narrowly defeated Knots County FC 4-3 in a thrilling match.
