Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league update 23rd August
Another excellent evening in the Worcester Wednesday league with all teams enjoying a great night of 6 aside football.
There is a local football derby taking place on Wednesday 30th August at Sixways and a large crowd is anticipated. Please can all players make sure they give themselves extra time to get to the pitch, especially those players playing at 19.00 and 19.40.
In the Premier League division, Cats On Bikes secured a hard-fought victory against Dales Sixes with a final score of 3-2. The match was closely contested, with both teams displaying excellent attacking prowess.
Moving on to Division 1, Lucozade Sports dominated Claines FC with an impressive 6-1 victory. New comers to the league Leavemyarsealona, also had a successful outing, as they secured a narrow 2-1 win against Nag Shuts FC.
Division 2 witnessed an incredible match between Sporting Bad Haircuts and Bench Warmers FC, with the former emerging victorious in an 8-2 triumph.
Finally, in Division 3, Banditos FC and Severn Wasters played an intense match, which ended in a well-fought 1-1 draw.
