Wednesday 30th June - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Wednesday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some entertaining football on display across all three divisions.

Brap FC got back to winning ways in the Premier Division and retain their place at the top of the table after a 4-1 win over The Blue Waffles.  The Rifes fell 2 points off the pace but remain in second place following their 2-0 defeat to Dales Sixes.  Snakes FC have now lost more games this season than they did all of the last campaign, You Petr Cech Yourself's 3-1 win inflicting a second defeat in four on them.

Ballas Atletico moved into second place as they leapfrogged Paris whom they thrashed 6-2.  Elsewhere Plunger and Superglue remain in fifth place after a hard fought 2-1 win over KFC Wimbledon.

Sporting A Beergut's incredible form in front of goal continued as they thrashed Diamond White Alley 7-2, taking their tally in front of goal to 29 in four games!  FC Marshelona have looked pretty impressive since joining the league too, they thrashed Cheese Gromit FC 9-1 to move into second place in the early stages of the season.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier provider of small sided football.
