AC Back On Top In Bury St Edmunds 6 a side

Our Monday night season of 6 a side in Bury St Edmunds powered through week 7 this week with more changes to the lead in the Premier League. AC got the better of Innocent Till Proven Gylfi 5 - 3 to regain top spot from Chicken Tikka Mo Salah who came out on the wrong side of a high scoring affair with Titus Brambles. The Brambles won it 6 - 5 which keeps them nicely tucked into 4th spot ahead of Double Pogba who were beaten 2 - 1 by Anne Spank this week.

Division One saw Mean Machine leap frog past Candyshop into 1st place with a 3 - 1 win over the previous leaders while Jewventus and SYM both won to consolidate their positions in mid table.

Charlesberg beat our Division Two leaders Hello You Kante 2 - 1 to close the gap at the top to just a point now and Unathletico drop to 3rd having been beaten by Tuddenham Tornados 3 - 2. It was a good night for Sons of Pitches who picked up their 2nd win of the campaign with a 3 - 1 victory over Harry's Helmuts.

So plenty of interesting results this week and movement in all three divisions to show how evenly matched and competitive our divisions are at Skyliner.

This league continues to be really popular and we are working hard behind the scenes to eek out a bit more pitch time so that we can expand the league further, there is certainly a demand for Leisure Leagues in the area so we will do what we can to get everyone who wants to play involved.

Thanks to Brian and his awesome team of Monday night refs, We have 3 weeks left of the season but will have to take a break on 10th April as it's Easter Monday which means the season will conclude on Monday 17th with the new one kicking off on 24th April.

Such a good league this one, keep up the great work everyone.
