In the Bury St Edmunds Monday football league, Division 1, and Division 2 kicked off their seasons this week with high-intensity matches that left fans on the edge of their seats.

Division 1
In Division 1, Expected Toulouse set the pace with a remarkable 6-2 win over James Mays Marching Powder while Bulldogs OGs narrowly edged out Inter Mivan 4-3. However, the spotlight was on Game Set And Snatch who claimed a 10-2 victory against Hello You Kante. 

Division 2 

Meanwhile in Division 2, Moreton Men Wanderers fell short with a 3-8 defeat to Leavemearsealona FC. Queens Park Raisins faced a similar fate with a 4-9 loss against For The Badge. However, Romasexuals and Batty Ballers FC fought tooth and nail, ending their game in a 2-2 draw. Cameron Clarke of For The Badge emerged as the top scorer of this division with his outstanding performance resulting in 4 goals.

The most valued player of the week, a title coveted by many, was awarded to Harvey Skinner from Batty Ballers FC. His exceptional display on the field was instrumental in his team securing a draw against Romasexuals, making him the star of the week.

As the season has just begun, we can expect more thrilling matches, spectacular goals, and outstanding individual performances in the weeks to come.
