BURY ST EDMUNDS 6 A SIDE - TUESDAY NIGHT ROUND UP

ONE PLACE AVAILABLE

We had a wet and breezy night down at Skyliner Sports Centre last night for week 7 of our Tuesday season of 6 a side in Bury St Edmunds.

All three divisions had some great games and the tables are taking shape as we reach the halfway point in the season. Check out the results of this week’s games below.

PREMIER LEAGUE

No Name got their season up and running with a tight 4 - 3 win over We Love A Bag this week while the top two pulled further ahead in the title race. All Mates here still lead following their 13 - 2 win over Symonds Army, Ollie Ward and Callum Stead in great form with 4 each for the leaders. Azoresteam keep the pressure on with their own 13 - 1 win thanks to 4 goals each for Andre Correia, Pepe and Goncalo. Leavemyarcelona also picked up a good 5 - 0 win over The Royal Family.

DIVISION ONE

Paris Ganja Man kept up their good form and remain 2nd in the table behind 2 Girls who pickup up a points win this week. Josh Harris was the main man for PGM as he netted 5 in his teams 11 - 4 win over Benteke Fried Chicken. Athletic Bilbarrow scored an important 4 - 1 win over Quaresma Balls to become one of 4 teams tied on 10 points at the top of the table, looks like we have a title race and a half on our hands here! Phil Matip and Riddlers played out an epic 5 - 5 draw in the lower half of the table, James West keeping himself right at the top of the goal scoring charts with 4 on the night.

DIVISION TWO

ECS have dominated the 1st half of the season in Division Two and last nights 10 - 2 win over Muns Boys keeps them well on track for promotion and favourites for the title at the halfway point. Elliot Gibson firing his way to to 22 goals with 5 this week in what has been a great season so far. Real Madribble are now the nearest rivals to the leaders and they won 5 - 0 against Drive while Touch Matip went down 4 - 2 to Thetford Boys. Bury Kebab are still very much in the hunt too after a 3 - 0 win against Mums Hot Sociedad.
