Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side - NEW SEASON

Bury St Edmunds Tuesday hosted its first week of the brand new 6 a side football league season this week. 

In the Premier League, eight teams battled it out on the pitch and put on an excellent display of football. No Name won the first game against Athletic Bilbarrow with a score of 7 - 5 before playing We Love A Bag FC in a points match because Ben Mee Over were away. The Bags went home with a 5 - 0 win. Bizzo FC proved to be a dominant team on the field when they defeated Riddlers FC with an impressive score of 14 - 1. Meanwhile, Manchester Obesity and Leavemyarcelona played a close game, with Manchester Obesity coming out on top with a score of 7 - 4.

In Division 1, Symonds Army and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp put on a thrilling game, with 2 Girls 1 Schlupp coming out on top with a score of 5 - 4. Quaresma Balls claimed a 5 - 0 win with Bury Kebab FC missing while Phil Matip and Mash FC played out a fantastic draw, with both teams scoring four goals each. Meanwhile, Paris Ganja Man and ECS played a closely contested game, with ECS winning with a final score of 7 - 5 to start their Division One season well.

In Division 2, Touch Matip destroyed Drive with a score of 11 - 1. Thetford Boys also proved to be a dominant team, defeating Earth Wind And Maguire with a score of 11 - 3. Real Madribble put on an excellent display of football, winning against Mums Hot Sociedad with a score of 7 - 2. Lastly, the returning MH Rovers narrowly defeated Muns Boyz with a score of 3 - 2.

Overall, it was a fantastic night of football, and we are all eagerly anticipating next week's matches.

Well done to everyone involved and a big shout to Brian and his team of refs for another brilliant night on the whistles.
