Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side news 2025-06-17

The first week of the highly anticipated Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6-a-side Football League delivered some exhilarating matches with unexpected results, marking the start of a thrilling season.

Premier League

Kloppy Seconds began their campaign with a stunning 5 - 2 victory over FC Young Boys thanks to a hat trick by Ellis Dobie, who now leads the division as top scorer. Haven't Got A Kalou and Chubby Alonsos drew 1 - 1 while The Cleaners narrowly edged Mums Hot Sociedad 2 - 1. The match between Moreton Men United and MH Rovers ended in a thrilling 3 - 3 draw.

Division 1

Matches were equally thrilling and high-scoring. Lads on Toure scored a whopping 21 goals against Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, largely owing to an exceptional performance by Jamie Noakes, who netted 8 goals, making him the division's top scorer. Unathletico Madrid beat Touch Matip 6 - 0, while Molester City triumphed over Quaresma Balls in a nail-biting 6 - 5 victory. Sheffield Tuesday managed to secure a 1 - 0 win against Heath Team.

Division 2

Saw some exciting matches as well. Dunk N Donuts edged out Goal Diggers 3 - 2, while Cougar Choppers secured a 4 - 3 win over Hungry Hippos, thanks in no small part to their star player, Jack Williams. Williams was not only instrumental in Choppers' victory but also earned the title of Most Valued Player for the week. The Roughamready vs Barely Athletico game ended in a 3 - 2 win for Barely Athletico.

As the season continues, we look forward to more exciting matches and incredible individual performances in the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6-a-side Football League.
