In an action-packed week 5 of the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday Football league, several teams came head to head in intense matches that saw a flurry of goals and some stellar individual performances.

Premier League
In the Premier League division, Quaresma Balls were victorious over Inter Ya Nan with a 17-1 victory. David Olumuyiwa was undoubtedly the star of the night, netting eight goals for Quaresma Balls to become the top scorer in the division. Bury Bowl FC also secured a commanding 14-1 win over Moreton Men United while Mums Hot Sociedad fell 7-3 to Haven’t Got A Kalou.

Division 1
Over in Division 1, Giroud Sandstorm bested Lads On Toure with a 4-1 victory, and Molester City outplayed Cougar Choppers with a 6-3 win. Dickins Cider FC won against FC Young Boys, ending the match at an impressive 11-0 scoreline. Heath Team and Athletic Bilbarrow saw a tight match where Athletic edged out Heath Team 5-3. Jacob of Dickins Cider FC shined, scoring four goals to clinch the top scorer title in the division.

Division 2
In Division 2, Moreton Men City narrowly lost to Roughamready 2-1 in a closely contested match. Expected Toulouse put up a strong show against Barely Athletico, winning 8-1 with Alex Clifton scoring four goals to become the top scorer for the division. Meanwhile, Hungry Hippos were edged out 2-1 by Dunk N Donuts. Chicken Tikka Mo Salah played a thrilling game against Goal Diggers, winning 7-4.

The highlight of the week was the exceptional performance of Connor Reeve from Chicken Tikka Mo Salah, who was named the most valued player of the week. His performance played a crucial role in leading his team to victory.
