In an exciting week 9 of the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side Football league took centre stage with thrilling victories and outstanding individual performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League division, Mums Hot Sociedad narrowly defeated MH Rovers with a 4-3 scoreline, largely thanks to a stellar performance by Iain Barnes. Barnes proved to be the top scorer in the division, scoring a total of 2 goals for his team, demonstrating tremendous skill and control on the field. Kloppy Seconds also pulled off an impressive 5-4 triumph over Moreton Men United, adding another feather in their cap.

DIVISION ONE

The Division 1 encounters were no less exciting. Heath Team and Unathletico Madrid engaged in a close contest, with the latter emerging victorious with a 4-3 win. Quaresma Balls outshone Expected Toulouse with a 9-2 victory margin, credit to Will Tate who scored a whopping 4 goals, marking him as the top scorer of Division 1. Mo Lester City cruised to a 6-0 win over Chicken Tikka Mo Salah while new boys Dickens Cider enjoyed an entertaining 7-5 win against Lads On Toure.

DIVISION THREE

The Division 2 games were marked by a series of intense matches. Barely Athletico emerged victorious against Hungry Hippos with a 4-0 scoreline, thanks to a splendid performance by Scott Curtis. Curtis was rightfully named the most valued player of the week. Moreton Men City were handed a heavy 13-3 defeat by Dunk N Donuts, with Tyler Baker stealing the show with a record 6 goals, securing his position as the top scorer of Division 2. Athletic Bilbarrow and Roughamready shared a 2-2 draw while leaders Cougar Choppers won a thrilling match against Goal Diggers 6-4.

As we move into Week 10 of the season, the excitement and anticipation continue to build. The performances and outcomes of this week’s games are a testament to the high level of competition and sportsmanship in the Bury St Edmunds Tuesday 6 a side Football league.
