Weekly Round-Up: Alfreton Monday 6-a-side Football League

On the sixth week of the Alfreton Monday Football League, teams across all divisions competed fiercely, showcasing their skill and competitiveness. The Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 all witnessed an incredible battle on the pitch with some surprising results.

In the Premier League, AFC Jimmys emerged as victors against Beating Chastards in a thrilling 6-5 encounter. Meanwhile, Stroke Titty FC secured a 4-2 win over AFC Carling, and Largentina held Bad Badgers FC to a goalless draw.

Over in Division 1, 'The Steampacket' and 'Association Athletic' fought out a 1-1 draw, while FC Twente Pints overwhelmed Tibby Lads with an impressive 12-2 victory. Bunting Bombers edged past Green Team Blues with a 2-1 win, and Youngest in Charge FC and Snort Vale finished with a 3-3 draw.

Division 2 saw a competitive match between Swanwick Sinners and Sheep Thrills FC, ending in a 3-3 draw. Sporting Abeergut managed a tight 4-3 win over Bundys Boys, with Bilkhu Originals and AFC Bundleslugs ending in a 1-1 draw. WarneHub Premium clinched a 2-0 victory against FC Farcelona.

Lastly, in Division 3, Cunning Stunts FC narrowly beat Rent Boys 1-0, while Sons of Pitches overcame The Gooners with a 5-2 scoreline. Madiline Milan and Borussia Teeth ended their match with a 1-1 draw, and Cupid Stunts FC secured a close 3-2 win over 2 Girls 1 Schlupp FC.

Although top scorers were not disclosed, the high scoring games suggest the presence of talented strikers in each division.
