In a pulsating start to the new season at the Alfreton Monday 6 a side Football League, the spectators were treated to an array of stunning goals and top-level performances across all divisions.

In the Premier League division, Bad Badgers FC began their campaign with a solid 2-0 victory over Youngest In Charge FC, while Swanwick Delves emphatically defeated Sporting Abeergut 6-1. Crystal Bar Palace also stood out, delivering a commanding 5-1 victory over Beating Chastards.

The Division 1 games were equally as thrilling, with Bilkhu Originals and A6 Milan setting the pace with convincing 4-0 victories over FC Farcelona and FC Twente Pints, respectively. The Steampacket also showcased a strong start with a 3-0 win against Normo Boys.

In Division 2, the standout performance came from Sons Of Pitches who triumphed 7-2 over Rack Em Yellaz, while Borussia Teeth also impressed with a domineering 7-1 victory against AFC Carling.

The Division 3 games were more evenly matched with especially tight games between Rabona67 CF against Grundys Guards, and also Codnor FC and Sheep Thrills Fc. Rabona67 CF managed to secure a 3-2 win, and Codnor FC came out on top with a 4-2 victory.

As the new season unfolds, the teams to watch closely would be Bad Badgers FC in the Premier League, Bilkhu Originals in Division 1, Sons Of Pitches in Division 2, and Rabona67 CF in Division 3.
