WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE ALFRETON MONDAY LEAGUE 7TH NOVEMBER

Another excellent evening in the Alfreton Monday 6 aside league held at Sleetmoor United Football Club with all teams in attendance and everything running as scheduled.

Unfortunately a yellow card was issued this week for persistant dissent and this player will now receive a fine but has to consider himself lucky as it could have quite easily been a red card. We also had a red card awarded to a player from Pinta FC for kicking out at an opponent and he will now receive a fine and a short ban from the league. We do not tolerate any kind of abuse let alone acts of violence and if this continues, then they can expect a heavier fine and longer ban.

Although this league is currently full we are looking to add an additional division in December. We are therefore continuing to offer FREE ENTRY to all new teams.
