The Milton Keynes Thursday 6-a-side Football League continued into its fifth week serving up exhilarating and high-octane football action.
In the Premier League, Cat 3 outpaced Olympic Leon in a high-scoring match, ending 6-3, demonstrating a superior show of attacking football. Meanwhile, Used To Be Athletic claimed a tight victory over the MK Dingdongs with a scoreline of 2-0. In the match of the night, 23rdofjune Fc edged out Troops Fc 3-2 in a nail-biting face-off that had spectators on the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, Division 1 showcased brilliant performances from Afobe Reader and No Kane No Gain. Out On Bale put up a spirited fight, but Afobe Reader emerged victorious, securing a 4-2 win. No Kane No Gain dominated their match against Pique Blinders ending the game 3-0. Knights also proved their mettle, trouncing SE Bucks 7-1 in an epic display of football.
In Division 2, Saucy 6 obliterated 30ntired with an impressive 5-0 victory. Real Rework and Sharky FC battled it out in a hard-fought draw, each team walking away with a 2-2 scoreline. Sun Sea and Suspicious Passing claimed a 2-0 win over Opium PC, ending the week on a high note.
We are yet to receive the official top scorers for each division but the performances last night definitely suggest potential contenders. The Milton Keynes Thursday League continues to be an exciting platform for local football, showcasing impressive talent and providing thrilling matches for fans and spectators.
