Thursday 12th August - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Thursday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across the division.

Exeter Gently continue to lead the way in the league and their latest game was a thriller!  They ran out 5-3 victors against bottom of the table Born Toulouse who certainly never made it easy for them!

Wil Brown are hot on the tails of the leaders as they sit just a single point off the pace, a 4-1 win over Paris Ganjaman keeps them in the hunt for the title heading into the home straight of the season.

Last seasons champions Real Sosobad are officially out of the title race, as they were heavily beaten 9-1 against MK Dongs in what some would see a shock result.

Finally, She Was Only XI put in a stellar performance against mid-table BJH Motors as they ran out 6-2 winners in this weeks clash.
