Thursday 13th April - Worcester St John's Round-Up

Welcome to the match round-up for the Worcester Thursday 6 a side league held at St John's Sports Centre. It was a thrilling evening of football with seven out of the eight teams in attendance, barring WAS, who will be spoken to and confirmed to return.

The first game saw Tiny Todgers taking on DGFC in a closely contested match. Tiny Todgers managed to edge past their opponents with a 4-2 victory, which propelled them into second place in the league table. It was a well-deserved victory for Tiny Todgers, who played some excellent football throughout the game. They were able to control the midfield and create numerous chances, which they took advantage of with some clinical finishing.

Next up, Ayew My Dad took on Two Left Feet in a one-sided affair. Ayew My Dad dominated the game from start to finish and came away with a convincing 7-0 victory. It was a commanding performance from Ayew My Dad, who showed their attacking prowess with some excellent team play and finishing. Two Left Feet, on the other hand, struggled to get into the game and were unable to mount any meaningful attacks.

In the final game of the evening, WR2 Galacticos faced off against BJH Motors in a high-scoring encounter. WR2 Galacticos emerged victorious with a 6-3 win, thanks to some excellent attacking play. They were able to create numerous chances and were clinical in front of goal, which proved to be the difference between the two teams. BJH Motors put up a good fight and managed to score three goals, but it wasn't enough to stop WR2 Galacticos from securing the win.

All the teams put up a good fight and displayed some excellent football skills. We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football.
