Thursday 15th June - Worcester St Johns Round-Up

The Worcester St Johns Thursday 6-a-Side League, powered by Leisure Leagues, continued to dazzle football fans with an action-packed game week 3 on June 15. With all teams present except for Warnocks Wanderers, who are eagerly anticipated to return on June 22, the stage was set for an evening of thrilling encounters.


BJH MOTORS 0 - 3 W.A.S


In a clash between two determined teams, W.A.S showcased their prowess on the pitch, leaving BJH MOTORS in their dust. The game kicked off with high energy as both sides battled for dominance. However, it was W.A.S who broke the deadlock, displaying their impressive teamwork and precision. With their relentless attacking maneuvers, W.A.S capitalized on their opportunities and gracefully found the back of the net three times. The MOTORS, despite their best efforts, were unable to find a way through W.A.S' resolute defense. W.A.S ultimately cruised to a well-deserved victory, leaving BJH MOTORS with a dent in their aspirations.


WEST WORCESTER DADS 0 - 7 DGFC


In a scintillating display of offensive brilliance, DGFC once again asserted their dominance on the field. The match started with both sides vying for control, but it was DGFC who quickly found their rhythm. With each pass and every strike, they showcased their finesse and hunger for goals. The Dads fought valiantly to fend off the relentless DGFC attacks, but their efforts proved futile against the formidable opposition. DGFC unleashed an unstoppable onslaught, netting an impressive seven goals. Their back-to-back goal-fests have made them a force to be reckoned with in the league, striking fear into the hearts of their rivals.


CUNNY FUNTS 5 - 0 TINY TODGERS


Last season's champions, CUNNY FUNTS, continued their quest for glory with a dominant display against TINY TODGERS. From the first whistle, it was evident that CUNNY FUNTS were determined to extend their winning streak and maintain their clean sheet record. Their well-drilled defense thwarted every attempt by TINY TODGERS to breach their fortifications. As the match progressed, CUNNY FUNTS showcased their attacking prowess, expertly combining skill and precision. The FUNTS overwhelmed their opponents, striking the back of the net five times. TINY TODGERS, despite their valiant efforts, were unable to halt the FUNTS' march toward victory.
