Southampton, UK — The excitement was palpable on Tuesday night as week 3 of the Southampton Tuesday 7-a-side Football League unfolded, with Division 1 delivering some nail-biting contests and high-scoring drama.

In the opening match of the evening, Goal Diggers FC showcased both resilience and attacking flair, edging past the spirited T5 side with a 3-2 victory. The match saw end-to-end action, with T5 pressing for an equaliser right up until the final whistle. Key to the win for Goal Diggers FC was their talismanic forward, Jake Benson, who bagged a brace and set up the third, cementing his status as one of the division’s top marksmen this season.

The intensity continued into the second game, where WINCHESTER SIXES faced Pathetico Madrid in a pulsating encounter that ended 4-3 in favour of Pathetico Madrid.
