In the excitement of the second week of the Chippenham Monday 6-a-side Football League, the turf was set ablaze with thrilling matches and outstanding individual performances. The teams contending in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions displayed exceptional skills and game strategy.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, intense competition was the theme of the night. Peroulis FC and Goal Diggers locked horns in a captivating encounter, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw. Jake Angell of Peroulis FC was the standout player, his exceptional skill and agility saw him score two goals, thereby claiming the title of top scorer in the Premier League division.

Kingfisher FC faced off against HP FC in another gripping match. Despite their best efforts, Kingfisher FC fell short to HP FC by 1-3. The fans were thrilled with the high-octane performance from both teams, pushing the limits of the game.

DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, the match between MRG Legends and Ballers R Us ended in a 2-2 draw. Melts United narrowly beat The Fatty Jihadi 4-3 in a thrilling encounter. Marshfield secured a triumphant 6-3 victory over Birds Marsh Rangers, and Diamond Dogs dominated their match against Bridgehouse, finishing 8-0. Division 1's top scorer, Lee Cooper from Diamond Dogs, impressively netted four goals for his team, a feat that did not go unnoticed.

The highlight of the week, however, was Joseph White from Melts United, who was named the most valued player. White's contribution to his team was significant and pivotal, making him a well-deserving recipient of the honour.
