Chippenham Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In a thrilling fifth week of the Chippenham Monday 6-a-side football league, spectators were treated to a spectacular display of athleticism and sportsmanship.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Inter Ur Nan edged out Birds Marsh Rangers 2-1, in a tightly contested match that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle. Kingfisher FC demonstrated their prowess with a decisive 3-0 victory over Expected Toulouse. However, the highlight of the week was Breast Rummage Albion's emphatic 11-1 triumph against Barber Studios. Liam, of Breast Rummage Albion, stood out as the star performer, scoring a hat trick and earning the title of the Premier League division's top scorer for the week.

DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the games were just as exciting. 2 Goals 1 Cup managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory over Melts United. Meanwhile, HRC FC displayed a strong team performance, securing a 2-0 win against MRG Legends. However, perhaps the most exciting match of this division was between Not So Atletico Madrid and AFC Nauts. Not So Atletico Madrid emerged victorious with a 4-1 win, with Paul scoring two of the four goals, and subsequently claimed the top scorer title in Division 1 for the week.

The fifth week of the Chippenham Monday league showcased the passion, skill, and spirit of all teams involved. As the season progresses, fans and players alike eagerly anticipate the battles to come in the race for the top spot in each division.
