HPFC Champions of Chippenham

In the high-stakes world of six-a-side football, the final week of the season for the Chippenham Monday League did not disappoint. After ten weeks of thrilling matches, team HP FC emerged victorious in the Premier League division, while Tap Watchers dominated Division 1.

The Premier League division saw some nail-biting action as Peroulis FC claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win over Stallions VI. Jake Angell, from Peroulis FC, was the star of the division, netting twice to become the division's top scorer. Despite this, it was HP FC that triumphed overall, finishing the season with an impressive total of 14 points and seven wins.

Adam Loveridge picks up the golden boot for his season tally of 10 goals that helped his team Haven't Jota Clue finish third in the table. 

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Tap Watchers stood tall, ending their season with a total of 17 points and eight wins. The division’s most anticipated match saw Birds Marsh Rangers triumph over The Fatty Jihadi with a clear 3-0 victory. Spyro Topi from Birds Marsh Rangers caught everyone's attention, scoring a crucial goal to finish the season strongly

On an individual level, Birds Marsh Rangers' Ali Moor-Bardell was awarded the most valued player of the week, a testament to his consistent performance and contribution to his team's success.

Sticking with Birds Marsh Rangers, Harrison Wicks has the honour of taking home the golden boot for Division One. His 12 goals being a benchmark for his teams promotion success this season. It will be interesting to see if he can replicate that for in front of goal in the top flight next season. 

The final week of the Chippenham Monday League marked the end of an explosive season, with HP FC and Tap Watchers celebrating their well-deserved triumphs in the Premier League and Division 1 respectively.
