NEW SEASON UNDERWAY

The Chippenham Monday Football League is off to an exciting start as week 1 of the new season wrapped up last night, leaving fans and players alike in anticipation for what's to come.

In the Premier League division, TMT edged out Birds Marsh Rangers with a score of 2-1, while the Tap Watchers claimed a narrow victory of 1-0 against Haven't Jota Clue. The spotlight was stolen by TMT's phenomenal player Liam Sunderland, who managed to net two goals, claiming the top scorer position in the Premier League and the coveted title of the most valued player of the week. Sunderland's performance has set the bar high for the Premier League division and has set an exhilarating tone for the season ahead.

Over in Division 1, there was no dearth of action either. Gary Glitters Young Boys trounced The Fatty Jihadi with a clear 7-2 victory. In the second match of the division, Peroulis Fc dominated The Ball Bags, securing a 4-1 win. Jake Angell from Peroulis Fc emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, netting an impressive total of 3 goals.

The kick-off week of the Chippenham Monday Football League displayed exceptional performances. With top talents like Liam Sunderland and Jake Angell already showcasing their prowess, the season ahead promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
